*Seminar #9: Life and Mind paper by Thompson*
Ever wondered what life has to do with mind? What autopoiesis has to do with phenomenology? During this seminar we will be discussing Evan Thompson’s paper on “Life and Mind”, which is a very good introduction for understanding the various facets of the enactive approach to cognitive science and how they all tie together. In addition, it gives a nice preview of some of the key ideas of Thompson’s forthcoming book on the topic.
